Itinerary

Day 1 – NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport ➝ Gangtok (Approx. 125 km / 4.5 hrs)

Meet our representative at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim.
Check in to your hotel and relax amidst the serene mountain views.
Evening free for leisure or strolls along MG Marg for shopping and local delicacies.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir (Approx. 53 km / 3 hrs one way)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) — a glacial lake revered by locals.
Continue to visit New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (13,200 ft).
Return to Gangtok by evening.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Note: Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir visits depend on weather and permit availability. Vehicles may drive only up to the snow point if required.

Day 3 – Gangtok ➝ Pelling via Namchi & Ravangla (Approx. 165 km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Pelling.
En route, visit Namchi Siddheshwar Dham (Char Dham replica) and Ravangla Buddha Park, featuring a towering 130-ft Buddha statue.
Arrive in Pelling by evening and check into your hotel.
Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 4 – Pelling Sightseeing ➝ Darjeeling (Approx. 80 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Pelling including:

  • Skywalk

  • Pemayangtse Monastery

  • Rabdentse Ruins

  • Bird Sanctuary

Later, transfer to Darjeeling, the “Queen of Hills.”
Check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5 – Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning visit to Tiger Hill (subject to permit) to witness the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
On return, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
After breakfast, visit:

  • Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda

  • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed Thursdays)

  • Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed Thursdays)

  • Tenzing Rock

  • Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (Closed Sundays)

  • Tea Garden (outer view)
    Evening free for shopping on Mall Road.
    Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 6 – Darjeeling ➝ NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (Approx. 75 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.

What is included in the tour

  • Accommodation: Stay in selected hotels/resorts (Gangtok – 2N, Pelling – 1N, Darjeeling – 2N).

  • Meals: Daily breakfast and dinner (MAP Plan).

  • Transfers: Private Non-A/C vehicle (WagonR / Innova / Xylo / Scorpio) for all transfers & sightseeing (point-to-point basis).

  • Sightseeing: All attractions mentioned in the itinerary.

  • Permits: Assistance for Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir permits.

  • Taxes: All hotel taxes and driver allowances.

  • Validity: For Indian Nationals only.

  • Airfare / Train Fare not included.

  • Nathula Pass supplement (optional & subject to availability).

  • Personal expenses: laundry, beverages, tips, porterage, etc.

  • Entrance fees, camera fees, and guide charges unless specified.

  • Room heater charges (direct payment).

  • Additional sightseeing or transport beyond the itinerary.

  • Expenses due to weather, strikes, or landslides.

Terms & Conditions

  • Booking Policy:

    • 25% advance payment required at booking; remaining balance before tour commencement.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • 30 days before travel: 10% | 15–29 days: 25% | 07–14 days: 50% | <7 days / no-show: 100%.

    • Refunds processed within 10–15 working days after deduction.

  • Important Notes:

    • All sightseeing is point-to-point, not at disposal.

    • Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir are subject to weather and permits.

    • Nathula Pass supplement (Rs. 4500–5500 per vehicle) applies if available.

    • Vehicles may change sector-wise due to terrain conditions.

    • Hot water supply in some hill hotels may be time-restricted.

  • Travel Documents:

    • Valid Voter ID / Passport / Driving License (Aadhaar not accepted for permits).

    • Birth Certificate for minors under 18 years.

    • Two passport-size photos per traveler for permits.

  • Liability Clause:

    • On The Globe is not responsible for delays, losses, or cancellations due to weather or local restrictions.

    • Travel insurance is recommended.

Booking Information

1. Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. A minimum advance payment is required to initiate the reservation process.

2. Payment Terms - Payment can be made via [UPI / Bank Transfer / Card / Other Modes].

  • 100% of the airfare must be paid at the time of booking confirmation.

  • 50% of the total package cost (including flights, hotels, and services) is required to initiate and confirm the booking.

  • 25% of the land package cost must be paid 25 days prior to departure.

  • Remaining 25% of the land package cost is due 15 days prior to departure.

Note:

  • For non-refundable bookings, 100% payment is required at the time of confirmation.

  • Failure to comply with the payment schedule may result in cancellation or revision of booking and pricing.

3. Confirmation Timeline

Upon receiving the advance payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email within 24–48 working hours, including details of hotels, transfers, and other services.

4. Required Documents

Please share copies of the following documents at the time of confirmation:

  • Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar / Passport)

  • PAN Card (for billing purposes)

  • Passport copies (for international travel)

5. Child Policy

 

Child below 5 years: Complimentary (no extra bed)

Child aged 5–11: May incur additional charges (as per hotel policy)
