Itinerary

Day 1 – NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport ➝ Gangtok (Approx. 125 km / 4.5 hrs)

Meet our representative at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.
Check into your hotel and relax amidst serene mountain surroundings.
Evening free to stroll along MG Marg for local shopping and food.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir (Approx. 53 km / 3 hrs one way)

After breakfast, start an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) — a glacial lake regarded as sacred by locals.
Continue to visit the revered New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (13,200 ft).
Return to Gangtok by evening for overnight stay.

Note: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir excursions are subject to weather conditions and permit availability.

Day 3 – Gangtok Half-Day Sightseeing ➝ Darjeeling (Approx. 100 km / 4 hrs)

Post breakfast, explore the best of Gangtok’s local attractions:

  • Flower Exhibition Center

  • Handicraft & Cottage Industry (Closed Sundays & 1st/3rd Saturdays)

  • Institute of Tibetology (Closed Sundays)

  • Dro-Dul Chorten (Stupa)

  • Ropeway ride (optional, at extra cost)

Later, transfer to Darjeeling, the “Queen of the Hills.”
Evening free for leisure.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 4 – Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning visit to Tiger Hill (subject to permit) for a spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
En route, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
After breakfast, visit:

  • Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda

  • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed Thursdays)

  • Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed Thursdays)

  • Tenzing Rock

  • Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (Closed Sundays)

  • Tea Garden (outer view)
    Evening free for shopping at Mall Road.
    Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5 – Darjeeling ➝ NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (Approx. 75 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and transfer to NJP / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.

  1. Booking Policy:

    • 25% advance payment required at booking; balance before tour commencement.

  2. Cancellation Policy:

    • 30 days before travel: 10% | 15–29 days: 25% | 07–14 days: 50% | <7 days / no-show: 100%.

    • Refunds (if applicable) processed within 10–15 working days.

  3. Important Notes:

    • Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir tours are subject to weather and permit conditions.

    • Nathula Pass supplement available at extra cost (closed Mondays).

    • Vehicle services are point-to-point, not at disposal.

    • Hotels in the hills may not have elevators or parking near entrances.

    • Hot water supply may be time-restricted in hill regions.

  4. Travel Documents:

    • Carry valid Voter ID / Passport / Driving License. (Aadhaar Card not accepted for permits)

    • Birth Certificate for minors under 18 years.

    • Two passport-size photos per traveler required for permits.

  5. Liability Clause:

    • On The Globe shall not be responsible for delays or losses due to weather or local restrictions.
