Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at Cochin International Airport / Railway Station ➝ Cochin

Arrive at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative, and transfer to your hotel.
Welcome to Kochi — the “Queen of the Arabian Sea.”
Spend the day exploring Fort Kochi, known for its colonial history and street charm.
Visit the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Mattancherry Palace.
In the evening, you may opt to attend a traditional Kathakali dance performance (optional).
Overnight stay at Cochin.

Day 2 – Cochin ➝ Munnar (Approx. 130 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Munnar, Kerala’s picturesque hill station.
En route, visit the stunning Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls.
Check into your hotel in Munnar and enjoy the evening at leisure amidst tea-clad hills.
Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3 – Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the breathtaking beauty of Munnar.
Visit Eravikulam National Park (home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr; closed 1 Feb – 15 Apr for breeding season).
Continue to the Tea Museum & Factory (closed Mondays), Rose Garden, Blossom Hydel Park, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake.
Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 4 – Munnar ➝ Thekkady (Approx. 90 km / 3 hrs)

Check out after breakfast and drive to Thekkady, a paradise for nature and wildlife lovers.
En route, stop for a Spice Plantation tour.
At Thekkady, enjoy an optional boat safari on Periyar Lake to spot elephants, bison, and birds.
Evening optional activities include Kathakali show, elephant ride/bath, musical fountain, or Ayurvedic massage (extra cost).

Day 5 – Thekkady ➝ Alleppey (Approx. 140 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, known for its serene backwaters and coastal charm.
Check into your hotel and later enjoy a houseboat experience (optional, extra cost) gliding through scenic canals and lagoons.
Visit Alleppey Beach and Lighthouse Museum.
Return to your hotel for overnight stay at Alleppey.

Day 6 – Departure Transfer

After breakfast, transfer to Cochin Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
Return home with beautiful memories of your Essence of Kerala trip — an unforgettable journey through hills, wildlife, and backwaters.

  • Meals: Daily breakfast and dinner (MAP Plan).

  • Transfers: Private A/C vehicle (Dzire / Ertiga / Innova) for all transfers & sightseeing (point-to-point).

  • Sightseeing: As per itinerary.

  • Taxes: All hotel taxes, tolls, parking & driver allowances.

  • Validity: For Indian Nationals only.

  • Airfare / Train Fare not included.

  • Entrance Fees / Guide Charges unless mentioned.

  • Optional Activities: Houseboat cruise, boating, massages, or cultural shows.

  • Personal Expenses: Laundry, tips, beverages, etc.

  • Room Heater Charges (payable directly at hotels).

  • Unforeseen Costs: Weather, roadblocks, or natural calamities.

Booking Information

  • Booking Policy:

    • 25% advance required to confirm booking; balance before tour commencement.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • 30 days before travel: 10% of total package cost.

    • 15–29 days before travel: 25% of total package cost.

    • 07–14 days before travel: 50% of total package cost.

    • Less than 7 days / no-show: 100% cancellation.

    • Refunds (if applicable) within 10–15 business days.

  • Important Notes:

    • Hotels in Munnar & Thekkady are non-A/C due to cool climate.

    • Houseboat check-in 12:00 PM / check-out 09:00 AM.

    • All sightseeing depends on weather and time availability.

    • The company reserves the right to modify itinerary under unforeseen conditions.

  • Travel Documents:

    • Carry valid Government Photo ID (Aadhaar / Passport / Voter ID).

    • Children must carry Birth Certificate / School ID.

  • Liability Clause:

    • On The Globe shall not be liable for delays or losses caused by natural calamities or strikes.
