Itinerary

Day 1 – Guwahati ➝ Shillong (Approx. 100 km / 3 hrs)

Welcome to Awesome Assam! Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and visit the Kamakhya Temple, one of the holiest Shakti Peeths.
Proceed to Shillong, the “Scotland of the East.” En route, stop at the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani) for optional boating and photo opportunities.
Check into your hotel in Shillong. Evening free for leisure or explore Police Bazaar, Shillong’s lively local market.
Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 2 – Shillong ➝ Cherrapunjee Excursion ➝ Shillong (Approx. 65 km / 1.5 hrs each way)

After an early breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on Earth.
Visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park.
On your return journey, stop at Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak for spectacular panoramic views.
Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 3 – Shillong ➝ Mawlynnong & Dawki ➝ Shillong (Approx. 90 km / 2 hrs each way)

After breakfast, proceed to Mawlynnong Village, Asia’s Cleanest Village. Explore its Living Root Bridge and the fascinating Balancing Rock formation.
Later, visit Dawki, located along the Indo-Bangladesh border, and enjoy boating on the crystal-clear Umngot River.
Return to Shillong by evening.
Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4 – Shillong ➝ Guwahati | Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
Take back fond memories of your Shillong Delight — a perfect blend of mountains, waterfalls, and clouds.

  • Transfers: Private Non-AC vehicle (Dzire / Ertiga / Innova) for all transfers & sightseeing (point-to-point).

  • Sightseeing: All attractions as mentioned in the itinerary.

  • Taxes: All applicable hotel taxes and service charges.

  • Validity: For Indian Nationals only.

What is NOT included in the tour

  • Airfare / Train Fare not included.

  • Personal Expenses: Laundry, tips, beverages, porterage, etc.

  • Entrance Fees / Guide Charges unless specified.

  • Room Heater Charges (payable directly at hotels).

  • Optional Activities: River cruises, boating, or adventure sports.

  • Unforeseen Costs: Weather delays, strikes, or road closures.

  • VIP Darshan at Kamakhya Temple.

  • Anything not mentioned under “Inclusions.”

Terms & Conditions

  • Booking Policy:

    • 25% advance required at the time of booking.

    • Remaining balance to be paid before or at tour commencement.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • 30 days before travel: 10% of package cost.

    • 15–29 days before travel: 25% of package cost.

    • 07–14 days before travel: 50% of package cost.

    • Less than 7 days / no-show: 100% cancellation charge.

    • Refunds (if applicable) processed within 10–15 working days after deduction.

  • Important Notes:

    • Kamakhya Temple timings: 08:00 AM – 01:00 PM & 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM.

    • All sightseeing is subject to weather and road conditions.

    • Hotels in Shillong & Cherrapunjee are limited and may not match metro city standards.

    • The company reserves the right to alter the itinerary due to operational reasons.

  • Travel Documents:

    • Carry a valid Government Photo ID (Aadhaar / Voter ID / Passport).

    • Children must carry a Birth Certificate or School ID.

  • Liability Clause:

    • On The Globe is not responsible for delays, losses, or cancellations due to weather or natural causes.
